It goes without saying that this school year will look different for students, teachers and parents.

Some school districts around the country have decided to begin the year online, while others are putting precautions in place to safely send the children back for in-person instruction.

Clorox is looking to help with school supplies, whether you’re preparing to teach kids at home or hoping to send them to school this fall. Their Support Your School Sweepstakes is giving away $5,000 to families and $20,000 to the winner’s school.

Now through Sept. 20, just head to Clorox’s website to enter the sweepstakes. Three winners will be chosen for a $5,000 check payable to the winner, and a $20,000 check will go to the specific K-12 U.S. public school designated by the winner.

Ten other winners will receive a $1,000 check, and 30 winners will receive $500. Winners will be chosen around Oct. 2 and notified via email.

Let’s face it, even the $500 prize would be a great supplement to your school budget for the year!

You can only enter the sweepstakes once, but you can get bonus entries for sharing the sweepstakes on Twitter through the share button on Clorox’s website. You can also get another entry by sending your name, home mailing address, phone number, email address and date of birth on a 3-by-5-inch card to “Clorox’s Stand with Teachers Sweepstakes,” c/o Merkle Inc., P.O. Box 5011, Department 844886, Kalamazoo, MI 49003-5011.

Teachers can also apply for a grant from Clorox’s partnership with the ClearTheList Foundation. Clorox is donating $1 million to the foundation’s efforts to help clear classroom items off teachers’ lists. Clorox will give up to $500 per list to help equip teachers and students with the right supplies. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you’re a teacher and wish to participate, visit ClearTheList’s website to create a list of school supplies you’ll need, then complete the application.

It’s that time of year! Are you already shopping for school supplies?
