Warm weather will continue for the Denver metro area on Wednesday, with highs expected to reach the mid to upper 60s. In the mountains, spring-skiing conditions will be the rule with highs in the 40s and a few rain and snow showers in the afternoon.

Thursday will turn a little cooler with a chance for rain and snow showers, especially in the central and southwest mountains. In Denver and across eastern Colorado, expect increasing clouds on Thursday along with cooler temperatures in the low 50s.

Friday will be cool and wet with 3-5 inches of snow in the mountains and a rain/snow mix across the plains. Highs will be in the 30s in the mountains and the middle 40s in Denver.

By Saturday, skies will return to partly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s for Denver. It's looking nice for skiing with temperatures in the 40s under partly cloudy skies.

Clouds will increase on Sunday ahead of another storm system that will be affecting the Central Rockies early next week. Monday and Tuesday will be colder with a chance for snow across Colorado.
