Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning took a pay cut at the beginning of the 2015 season, but now he's getting it back.

Manning's contract called for a $19 million salary in 2015 and 2016 — down from the $20 million he made in the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

Last March, Manning agreed to a $4 million pay cut.

However, it turns out, the contract included a way for Manning to earn that $4 million back. It called for a $2 million bonus if the Broncos won the AFC Championship and another $2 million bonus if the Broncos won the Super Bowl, ESPN reported. reported that Manning had to play at least 70 percent of the offense snaps to collect.

He did, the Broncos won both games, so it appears Manning will get his full salary for the 2015 season.

By the way, NFL players earn their salaries for playing during the 17-week season. The NFL pays players extra for playing in the postseason. reported that the players on the winning Super Bowl team, the Broncos, were paid $102,000 each. The players on the losing team, the Panthers, were paid $51,000 each.
