LITTLETON, Colo. -- In a recent video posted on Facebook, Charlene Voight and her boyfriend Jeffrey Scott Beier seemed like a happy couple promoting Colorado ChileFest.

“It’s free and open to the public,” said Voight with a smile.

But last week after her parents reported her missing, police found Voight’s car abandoned in a dirt lot at 5099 S. Rio Grande St. with no sign of her anywhere.

“He paid me $50,000 cash up front,” said Donald Weaver, the property owner who said he sold the lot to Beier on June 27th, two days before Voight disappeared.

Weaver said he thought it was strange that Beier immediately moved roll-off dumpsters onto the property, when they had discussed that improvements were needed first.

“Then a little police officer called me and told me about the missing girlfriend,” said Weaver, “I called Jeff afterwards, and he, in his words, claimed that has girlfriend has a history of disappearing. That this wasn’t the first time she has disappeared.”

However, it has now been almost three weeks since anyone has seen or heard from Voight.

“She was last seen on June 29th,” said Commander Trent Cooper with the Littleton Police Department. “Her whereabouts are still unknown."

Police have searched the apartment where Voight was staying, and her boyfriend is under arrest in an “unrelated” sex assault case involving a different woman..

Denver7 has learned he has a history of domestic violence and police confirmed he runs a roll-off dumpster company.

When asked if police have searched landfills, Cooper replied, “Not yet."

They are asking anyone with information to contact Littleton Police.
