For many Colorado families, Children's Hospital Colorado is their second home.
Sunday, Santa Claus made a special, early appearance, handing out gifts with his helpers dressed in a whole lot of leather.
“It’s a tiara that one of the bikers gave me,” said 11-year old patient, Sanaria Herron. “It was cool because when I’m here I don't like being here because it's so boring. It’s a special day for me.”
Vinny Terranova with Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson started the annual "Toy Run" 30 years ago.

“Even though we were in a bad light back then, we’re making a lot of kids smile now,” Terranova said.
Some kids can come outside, while others are stuck in bed.
“If you watch pretty soon you're going to see signs in the windows it just makes your heart break,” said Melinda Sharshel with Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson.
And just like Santa, the bikers come rain, snow, or sunshine.
“We've had a blizzard twice, but they were here,” said Kathleen McBride with Children’s Hospital Colorado.
