ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. – A man's body was found encased in concrete in the basement of an apartment in Adams County on Friday afternoon, authorities said.
Adams County Sheriff's Office detectives were responding to the 7800 block of York Street, where the victim's body was found. The sheriff's office was still processing the scene about 2 p.m. Friday.
On Thursday, a man at the same address was arrested on a murder charge. Russell Montoya, 38, is accused of shooting and killing another man at the apartment, according to the sheriff's office. The victim's name had not been released yet.
Montoya faces charges of first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence.
