PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) -- Authorities say a man who was found dead in a locked bathroom at the Colorado State Fairgrounds was trying to get into the building by forcing open a vent on the roof and climbing through the ducts.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says a maintenance worker found the body of 26-year-old Gregory Thomas on the floor of the women's bathroom in the carnival area of the fairgrounds Monday morning.
Investigators believe the Pueblo man broke in sometime over the weekend and fell to the floor. They have not said why he was trying to get into the bathroom.
