ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — One person was rescued from the water at Cherry Creek State Park on Friday afternoon.
South Metro Fire Rescue, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office responded to the park, the fire department posted online just before 4 p.m. Friday.
At 5 p.m., they said the South Metro Fire Rescue Dive Team had rescued one person.

That person was brought to a local hospital.
