LITTLETON, Colo. -- A Littleton woman missing for more than three weeks had been in fear for her life years before her disappearance.

California court records show that Charlene Voight's boyfriend, Jeff Beier, pleaded guilty to beating her in 2011.

While Littleton Police have not named Beier as a suspect or person of interest in her disappearance, he is in jail on an unrelated sexual assault charge.

Denver7's Jaclyn Allen obtained records from the Orange County Superior Court, including a 2012 restraining order request, where Voight wrote "I am scared for my life."

She attached photos of a bruised face, and stated that it was from Beier grabbing, slapping, choking and dragging her around the house for 20 minutes, writing "He may kill me next time he gets drunk."

Also included in the records are more than two dozen emails from Beier, either begging her to come back or insulting her.

Records show Beier pleaded guilty in 2013 to a 2011 assault on Voight and agreed to a 52-week Batterer's Treatment Program.

Eventually, Voight and Beier got back together, and she had just moved to Colorado in June to be with him.

Littleton Police said they have no new information in her disappearance.

The last time she was seen or heard from was June 29.
