Aurora shooter moved and more: 5 Things to Know for Thursday, Sep. 28

DENVER – Good morning, everyone! Here’s what you need to know today on Thursday, September 28.

1. Aurora theater shooter transferred to federal prison
James Holmes is now being held at a high-security federal prison in Allenwood, Pennsylvania. He was moved out of Colorado early in 2016.

2. Deputy-involved shooting in Adams County
A suspect was taken to the hospital after being shot by deputies in unincorporated Adams County Wednesday night. Deputies said the suspect fired at officers, who shot back. No word on the suspect's condition this morning.

3. Denver Startup Week continues
Denver Startup Week is about innovation for founders, developers, product managers, designers, marketers, sales teams, and makers. Day four events include Small Business Administration Administrator Linda McMahon sitting down with Chase Business Banking CEO Andrew Kresse to discuss what the SBA is doing for small business owners and entrepreneurs in Denver and around the country.

4. Maria regains strength in Atlantic
The storm becomes a hurricane again, pushing water over both sides of North Carolina's Outer Banks.

5. Get ready for another cool, cloudy and wet day
There is a weak upper air disturbance swirling just to the south of Colorado that will move northward through Thursday.  This will bring more showers and thunderstorms for Denver and the northeastern plains through Thursday.
