4 shot in 3 separate incidents in Denver-Boulder area overnight

DENVER — Separate shootings in Denver, Westminster and Boulder in the span of about four hours overnight has left four people wounded.

At least two suspects have been apprehended or identified in two of the three unrelated incidents.

The first shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday in Boulder. Police were called to a home in the 900 block of 14th Street where two people were shot. Paramedics transported the victims to the hospital in stable condition.

Boulder police have identified a suspect, and they say that person, who has not been identified, is cooperative with investigators. Police are not looking for additional suspects in the case.

About four hours later, Westminster police were called to 7100 block of Raleigh Street on a report of a shooting at a large party.

Arriving officers were advised that a fight broke out during the party, and an adult female attempted to intervene and was shot, according to police. The female victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Detectives were on scene conducting interviews in an attempt to identify a suspect. Police are asking anyone who has information to contact them at 303-658-4360.

Around the same time as the Westminster shooting, police in Denver tweeted that officers were investigating a shooting in the 4300 block of Cook Street. One person was transported in that incident. However, their condition is unknown.

Police later tweeted that a suspect in the Denver shooting was in custody.
