DENVER – Two men were shot just before midnight on the east side of the Westwood neighborhood during what police called a suspected argument.

Denver police said the two men were taken to a hospital in critical condition but that they were stable. A spokesperson said no suspects had been arrested as of 11 a.m.

The shooting happened near the intersection of W. Virginia Ave. and S. Eliot St. – close to the same location where five people were shot, one juvenile fatally, on Aug. 1.
