No injuries were reported in a fire that tore through several townhomes early Sunday in the Southmoor Park neighborhood.
Denver7 viewers reported seeing flames shooting 30 feet into the sky from the fire located at 3553 South Hillcrest Drive, which is south of East Hampden Avenue and west of Interstate 25.
The two-alarm fire was reported around 2:30 a.m.
Three townhomes were on fire when crews arrived.
Conditions inside the townhomes quickly became too dangerous for firefighters. They evacuated and fought the flames from outside the structure until it was safe for them to return inside.
