Wheat Ridge police arrest man after woman found dead in home

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Police are investigating a homicide and have arrested a man on first-degree murder charges. 

Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Wheat Ridge police responded to a call of a suspected homicide on the 8700 block of W. 46th Avenue. 

Police found a deceased woman in the home.

Joshua Kane, 31, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. 

No other suspects are being sought in the case. The investigation is ongoing.
