Join Denver7 as we celebrate the 52nd Mile High United Way Turkey Trot in Denver’s Washington Park on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025.

Denver7 is proud to be the exclusive television partner of the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot. Denver7 Chief Meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo will emcee the event.

The Turkey Trot is one of the biggest fundraisers for Mile High United Way, the first United Way in the world.

This Thanksgiving tradition – one of the largest Turkey Trots in the country – is a four-mile run/walk that drew more than 10,000 people last year. There’s also a one-mile Lil’ Gobbler Fun Run.

Participants are encouraged to drew up in their best Thanksgiving style to compete for prizes in the Turkey Trot Costume Contest.

Each registration directly supports the critical work of Mile High United Way, providing families with high-quality early learning so kids can begin school ready to succeed, connecting young adults to education and workforce development opportunities and ensuring families can meet their basic needs.
