DENVER – If you love hiking and care about ending hunger across our state, lace up those shoes and get ready for Hike to End Hunger.

The family-friendly event benefiting Hunger Free Colorado and its mission to end hunger will take place Saturday, June 1 from 8:30 a.m. to noon ta D’evelyn Jr-Sr High School. Denver7 is proud to support the cause this year.

There will be face-painting, relay races, an interactive hike, music, game and prizes, as well as local vendors offering giveaways, food and refreshments.

Registration starts at $10 and includes a hiking schwag bag as well as access to all of the event activities and refreshments. Hikers are also encouraged to do peer-to-peer fundraising. All proceeds from registration and fundraising efforts help to end hunger in Colorado.

Can’t go? You can help by making a donation or by visiting partnering restaurants and breweries offering a portion of proceeds on June 1. To learn more about registration, tickets, events, sponsors and how to donate, please visit HikeToEndHunger.org.
