Inner City Health Center presents Jazzed, featuring Hazel Miller on Friday, Oct. 18. Denver7 is proud to partner with Inner City Health Center on this event.
Miller, a longtime patient of ICHC’s medical and dental clinics, wanted to do something creative to inspire others to support the organization. Since the event’s inception in 2010, she and her band have provided the music and have recruited other musicians to join them. This year Manual Molina and his Dancing Latin Combo will also perform.
Jazzed is Inner City Health Center’s annual fundraiser, in which they strive to have fun, tell their story and raise funds to offset the funding shortfall between the cost of services provided and income from patients, who pay on a sliding scale, via Medicaid and other support programs. Currently, that shortfall is more than $1 million.
Jazzed takes place at the Forney Museum of Transportation. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:15pm.
