The Urban Farm presents FarmFest, a celebration and benefit for the animals and programs at The Urban Farm, on Sunday, Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Denver7 is a proud partner of this event.
This year’s event is a sponsored Free Day of the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, so there is no charge for self-guided tours, entry to the Farm or the event itself.
Attendees will experience a working farm in the city and will have a chance to meet the Farm’s animals – including baby goats. There are plenty of free activities – cow beanbag throw, animal interaction, lasso a bull, stick horses and more – as well as some ticketed activities, including a bounce house, face painting, hayride and more. FarmFest promises to be a day of fun for the whole family.
The Urban Farm works to inspire excitement for learning through practical work experience in a farm setting while fostering respect, responsibility, curiosity, caring and grit. They are located at 10200 Smith Rd., Denver, CO 80239.
