Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame presents A Conversation with Women in STEM

The Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame is hosting a virtual zoom event – Thriving in Tumultuous Times: A Conversation with Women in STEM – on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Denver7 is a proud sponsor of the event, which includes a panel discussion moderated by Denver7 Morning Meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo. Panelists include Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame inductees:

  • Terry Finkel, PhD, internationally recognized immunologist and pediatric rheumatologist
  • Temple Grandin, PhD, internationally renowned animal scientist, and autism advocate
  • Ding-Wen Hsu, co-owner/President of Pacific Western Technology, Ltd
  • Jill Teitjen, PE, profession engineer serving on boards, author

The virtual event will be opened by Donna Lynne, former Lieutenant Governor of Colorado, and Dr. Patricia Gabow, former CEO of Denver Health One will talk about her new book, TIME'S NOW for Women Healthcare Leaders: A Guide for the Journey.

This event furthers Colorado Women's Hall of Fame efforts to write women's accomplishments into history and inspire others through the through the remarkable achievements of their 182 Inductees.
