DENVER —The recent storm dropped some impressive snow totals over the Front Range and Denver Metro area with 4 to 8 inches in many spots.  The streets are in much better shape now, but watch out for some scattered slippery roads overnight and early Tuesday as temperatures drop into the low to middle teens!  Bridges, ramps and road surfaces that did not see much sunshine will be the most likely to get slick!

Mostly clear skies on Tuesday will signal the start of a nice trend in our weather for the next several days. The storm track will shift to the north and east of Colorado through Friday, allowing for milder temperatures and dry conditions for the rest of the work-week.

Temperatures will still be cool on Tuesday, but certainly warmer than the past 48 hours. Afternoon readings will be in the mid-to upper 40s in Denver and across eastern Colorado, with upper 30s to low 40s in the mountains.

Warmer weather is expected for the middle of next week with temperatures nearing 60 degrees on Wednesday!  Thursday will also be pleasant with highs in the upper 50s.

Another cold front will begin to move into Colorado on Friday. Clouds will increase during the afternoon, but temperatures will still be in the low to mid-50s for Denver and the eastern plains. In the mountains, expect readings in the upper 30s to low 40s.

This next cold front will not be as strong as the last, but should bring colder temperatures and some light snow to Colorado on Saturday.  Highs will drop back to the middle 30s in Denver with 20s to low 30s in the mountains.

Skies will clear again next Sunday with a gradual warming trend for the days before Thanksgiving.
