The National Weather Service said winds of 30 to 45 mph, with gusts of 75 mph to 90 mph, are expected in Douglas, Jefferson, Larimer, Boulder, Gilpin, Clear Creek, Broomfield, and Elbert counties until 5 p.m.

Some of the wind gusts reported by the National Weather Service Monday:

  • Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado Springs, 101 mph
  • Colorado Springs, 90 mph
  • Air Force Academy, 69 mph
  • Broomfield, 68 mph
  • Boulder, 63 mph
