DENVER — The weather has returned to beautiful over most of Colorado. A weak storm system over southwest Colorado will swirl to the northeast and bring some high clouds to Denver and the eastern plains, but no rain or snow is expected.

There will be some rain and snow over the southwest mountains for the next two days. One to three inches of snow may fall over elevations higher than 10,000 feet in the San Juan Mountains.

Dry weather conditions can be expected for Denver and the northern half of Colorado. Temperatures across the plains will climb into the middle 60s for Thursday. In the mountains, readings will be in the upper 40s to mid-50s during the day and upper teens to mid 20s at night.

Friday will be mostly sunny for the plains with highs in the mid-to upper 60s for Denver and the eastern plains.  In the mountains, isolated rain and snow showers will still be possible with temperatures in the 50s.

By the weekend, the weather should be dry, pleasant and warmer with highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s!
