DENVER —  Warm weather will settle in through the holiday weekend.  In fact, it's going to be near 90 degrees on Saturday!

Temperatures rose to the upper 70s and low 80s today.  Scattered storms and showers will linger into the evening hours. We saw a couple severe storms over Colorado today. One produced up to 1 inch hail and caused areas of flooding in Fort Collins.

Tonight, skies gradually clear state-wide. Lows around the metro will be in the low 50s. Sunny and warm again tomorrow. Highs will stay in the low 80s Wednesday, with a slight chance for a few more afternoon storms.

Drier weather will return for Thursday through Saturday. High temperatures will be hot on Friday and Saturday, in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.

Sunday and on Memorial Day, we have a better chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. Keep the umbrella handy as these late-day Colorado storms roll over the mountains and foothills, then across the plains.
