DENVER- Sunday, temperatures were in the low 50s for the Front Range. Clouds increase and winds pick up ahead of this next storm. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Denver and the Front Range for snow from 5am Monday to 5pm. We are expecting 3-6" of snow for Denver..6-8" for the foothills and less than 1 inch for the eastern plains.

The cold front will arrive early New Year’s Eve. Expect another round of cold air and more light snow for the Metro Area through Monday.

Our temperatures will also take a hit from this front, dropping back to the single digits and low teens overnight, with daytime highs in the teens for both New Years Eve and New Years Day.

It will be a cold start to 2019, but temperatures are expected to rise to the 40s by Wednesday, and near 50 degrees to round out the week.
