DENVER — Our first full day of fall felt more like summer! We saw lots of sunshine statewide, with highs in the low to mid 80s across the Denver metro area.
Some cooler air will return for the middle of the week. Highs will be in the upper 70s on Wednesday but then heat right back into the 80s on Thursday.
A stronger cold front will swing through on Friday. This one will lead to afternoon highs in the low to mid 70s, with a chance of scattered showers.
So far, the weekend looks great! Highs in the upper 70s under a mostly sunny sky on Saturday and Sunday.
The aspen leaves are changing in the mountains, but they are a little late this season so far. The recent warm weather has delayed the foliage a bit, but some of the aspen trees will really glow in the high country over the next couple weeks! Here's where to go to see the beautiful fall foliage.
