DENVER — Warm weather will settle in through the holiday weekend. In fact, it's going to be near 90 degrees on Saturday!
We've had highs in the 80s for Thursday, and it will be a nice warm evening with temperatures in the 70s through 10pm. Skies will remain mostly clear as well. conditions across most of the state. We have seen storms for the eastern plains~ closer to Burlington this afternoon. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect there until 9pm tonight. Temperatures have been in the 60s and 70s for the mountains as well, and that will continue this weekend.
Friday will feature upper 80s for Denver with partly cloudy skies. Saturday is the warmest day on our 7-day forecast, with highs in the 90s and that's about 15 degrees above normal.
Sunday and on Memorial Day, we have a better chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. Keep the umbrella handy as these late-day Colorado storms roll over the mountains and foothills, then across the plains.
