DENVER — Mild and dry weather will continue across Colorado through tomorrow. Today, highs were  in the upper 50s across the metro area, with 40s in the mountains.

Temperatures will stay mild on Friday with temperatures in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees in Denver and in the 40s in the mountains.

Another cold front will begin to move into Colorado late Friday. Clouds will increase during the late afternoon, but the weather will stay dry through the evening. Some snow will develop before midnight near the Colorado-Wyoming border.

This next cold front will push into the Front Range and the Denver area early Saturday. This front will not produce as much snow as the one last weekend, but should bring colder temperatures and light snow on Saturday. Highs will drop back to the low 30s in Denver with 20s to low 30s in the mountains.

The heaviest snowfall will stay in southern Wyoming where a Winter Storm Watch has been issued.  Snowfall over northern Larimer and Weld Counties could be two to four inches on Saturday. Farther south in the Denver area, amounts will likely be an inch or two.

Skies will clear again Sunday with a gradual warming trend for the days before Thanksgiving. Highs on Sunday will reach the mid to upper 40s. Monday through Wednesday should be mild and dry with highs in the 50s. The extended outlook for Thanksgiving is for windy and colder weather with a chance for flurries.
