DENVER — As the middle of July nears, our temperatures are soaring! We will continue to hit highs in the 90s over the plains and the Front Range Sunday through the majority of the week! The mountains will see highs in the 70s and 80s.
In early to mid July, there is almost always a slight chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Also, the warm temperatures in the high country have greatly accelerated the snow melt, rivers and streams are running high, fast and cold!

There will be another chance for storms on Monday and Tuesday afternoon, with even warmer temperatures, in the mid to upper 90s.
Hot and drier weather is expected by mid-week. Temperatures though are expected to stay in the mid-90s through the end of the week, with lows in the low to mid-60s for Denver. Stay cool!
