DENVER — Warm and mostly dry weather will hold across Colorado for the balance of this work-week. Only a few high-based gusty afternoon thunderstorms can be expected. The risk of severe weather is low, just some gusty winds and little thunder and lightning.

Highs will reach 80 degrees for most of the week in Denver, with that beautiful sunshine sticking around. Night-time lows will be comfortable - in the 40s to low 50s for lower elevations and 30s to low 40s in the mountains.

A cold front will move into the region on Friday and bring a better chance for thunderstorms and cooler temperatures will be cooler, in the 60s, by the weekend.
