Dry conditions and warmer temperatures for Monday

DENVER- Calm and dry conditions prevail across Colorado tonight. Sunday, we saw sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 40s in Denver.

Overnight, temperatures will be cold, but seasonal, dropping to the 20s and teens across the Front Range and plains.

M.L.K. Day on Monday looks dry and sunny. Highs will climb to the low 50s in Denver. Above normal temperatures linger Tuesday, with Denver expecting highs in the mid to upper 50s under a mostly cloudy sky.

Our next minor storm arrives mid-week. Mountain snow is likely Tuesday night through Wednesday. Accumulations are expected to be light with this fast moving system. There is a chance for a few showers Wednesday afternoon and evening in Denver, along with gusty winds through early Thursday.

Dry and cool on Thursday, with highs in the low to mid-40s. By Friday, expect 50s to return and remain for our forecasted highs through the weekend.
