DENVER —The weather will be fairly quiet for the next few days across Colorado, although a series of weak weather fronts will bring the mountains a little snow.

The weather will stay cool  with highs in the low to mid 50s Thursday. A weak disturbance will bring 2 to 4 inches of snow to the mountains, but just mid to high level clouds for Denver and the eastern plains.

Friday will be dry and mild across Colorado as the weak weather disturbance zips off to the east. Highs will be in the low 60s in Denver and in the 40s to low 50s in the mountains.

The weekend will bring a slight chance for showers on Saturday in Denver, while rain and snow showers will be likely in the mountains. Highs will be in the 50s for lower elevations and upper 30s to low 40s in the high country.

Sunday will be a dry and pleasant day in Denver - a good day for the Broncos to get back on the winning track at Mile High!  Temperatures will be in the middle 50s on the plains and 40s in the high country.

Another weak storm will move across Colorado on Monday with some showers possible in Denver and a few inches of snow for the mountains.
