DENVER — Rainfall totals from this storm are in the 1.00" to 2.00" range along the Front Range - very welcome for Colorado!  In the mountains, 6 to 12 inches of snow, with locally up to 18" in some spots.

The storm system is swirling away from Colorado with clearing skies across Colorado. Some patchy ground fog may develop early Friday due to all the surface moisture left from this storm.

Warmer and drier weather will return for Friday and continue for the weekend.  A few gusty thunderstorms will be possible in the mountains and foothills Saturday and Sunday, but these storms will produce mainly wind and lightning and not much rain.

A weak storm system will move into the central Rockies Monday, bringing a better chance for showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon and again on Tuesday.  Temperatures will remain close to normal for early May with 70s on the plains and upper 50s to mid-60s in the mountains.
