DENVER -- There were fourteen tornado reports on Colorado's eastern plains on Memorial Day. The was a little more severe weather across eastern Colorado on Tuesday, but not nearly as bad!

Scattered thunderstorms have ended across Colorado and skies will become clear overnight. Temperatures will cool to the low to mid-50s by Wednesday morning.

Warmer weather will return to Colorado for the next couple of days. Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s on Wednesday, with again a chance for scattered thunderstorms in the mid-to late afternoon. The threat of severe storms will be fairly low on Wednesday, but a few severe storms may develop across the eastern plains.
Thursday will be warm and dry across the state, with low chances for any thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s in Denver and will reach the mid-90s across southeastern Colorado. In the mountains, the weather will be delightful with readings in the 70s to low 80s.
Another minor weather disturbance will drift over Colorado on Friday. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms can be expected, with highs in the upper 80s.
Saturday will be sunny, but cooler with temperatures dropping back into the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. On Sunday, there will be a better chance for strong to severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
