More snow across Colorado this weekend

DENVER — Expect partly cloudy skies early Friday, but it will be chilly. Expect lows in the single digits in the mountains and teens on the plains. Some snow showers will develop in the mountains by daybreak.

Friday, milder weather will return, with highs in the 40s under a partly cloudy sky. Snow showers will continue to the northern and central mountains late in the day.

Saturday will be mild with highs around 50 degrees, but another storm that will bring 3 to 6 inches of snow to the mountains may also bring some showers or flurries late in the day for the Denver area. An inch or two of snow may fall in the Denver area by Sunday morning.

Skies will clear on Sunday and temperatures will be a little cooler again with highs in the low 40s.

Warmer weather will arrive early next week with highs climbing into the low to mid-50s Monday and Tuesday.

Wednesday will turn a little colder with a chance for some snow, highs will drop back to the 30s.
