DENVER — Thanks to a cold front, cooler air and showers have been moving through Colorado this weekend.

Highs were in the upper 70s to low 80s in Denver on Sunday,..with 50s and 60s in the mountains. By the way, the leaves are changing in the high country, so expect to see some early aspen glory this weekend!

The weather pattern will still be showery on Labor Day, with highs around 75 degrees. In the mountains, some showers and scattered storms can be expected with highs in the 60s to low 70s. Keep a rain jacket handy and perhaps have a plan B for any outdoor BBQs on Monday.

The cooler air with showers and storms sticks around through mid-week.

Drier and warmer weather returns to round out the week and start next weekend!
