DENVER — Thunderstorms hammered the northern part of the Denver Metro area, Boulder, Weld County, Morgan and Washington counties. Very large hail has broken windows, destroyed vehicles and damaged crops.
The threat for severe weather will slowly diminish late tonight, but will likely develop again on Tuesday!
Temperatures are cooler across the region, but the humidity is higher and there is an upper air disturbance floating over the central Rockies. There will again be a threat of large hail and damaging winds Tuesday afternoon.
The rain chances will be a little lower by Wednesday, with warmer temperatures and more widely scattered storms expected
Temperatures will climb back into the 80s to near 90 degrees by the end of the week, with drier weather on the plains.
