Warm weather coming to end end, snow on the way!

DENVER — Temperatures soared into the low 60s for the second straight day in Denver, but there will not be a third!
Highs hit the upper 50s to low 60s again in the Denver area, with mid 60s to low 70s over the far eastern plains. In the mountains, highs were in the upper 30s to mid 40s with mostly sunny, but windy conditions.

The next storm will hit Wednesday as a cold front slides across Colorado. It will be dry in the morning, but clouds will increase and snow will develop later in the day. Temperatures will turn colder as highs will drop back to the 30s.

The main timing for the next snow will be Wednesday night through early Thursday. The mountains will get 6-10 inches of snow, while Denver and the I-25 Corridor can expect 2-4 inches of snow by daybreak Thursday. The morning commute will be the most affected with slushy and slick roads early Thursday.

Thursday afternoon will be clear and cool with highs in the 30s. Milder weather will return on Friday with highs in the 40s.

Saturday will be dry and cool, followed by another chance for snow next Sunday.
