A nice warming trend will develop over the central Rockies and hold strong through the weekend.

Highs were in the low to mid 70s this afternoon across the Front Range and plains.

Scattered storms and showers have developed in the mountains and foothills. The main threat with these storms will be gusty winds and pockets of moderate rainfall. There is a slight chance for seeing a few isolated storms roll across the metro-area and plains late in the day.

Warmer weather will continue to cover Colorado for the first weekend of June! Temperatures will rebound back into the 70s and 80s Saturday and Sunday. The warm weather will last into the start of next week.

Will will have the chance for strong storms in the afternoon and evening on Saturday and Sunday. The storms will be isolated and quick moving.

Monday and Tuesday will be warm and mainly dry, but a more organized storm system will arrive next Wednesday and Thursday with a better chance for thunderstorms.
