DENVER — It will be a mild week for Colorado with a mix of sun and clouds and just a few afternoon showers possible. A few minor weather disturbances will drift over the central Rockies this week, they will not bring much active weather, but may create some rain and snow showers.

The skies will clear overnight with mostly sunny skies expected by early Tuesday. Lows will be in the 20s in the mountains and 30s for the plains.

Tuesday will be a pleasant day across Colorado with sunny to partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures. Highs will reach the low 60s in the Denver area and be in the 40s to low 50s in the mountains.

Temperatures will stay mild Wednesday, with highs in the low to mid-60s for lower elevations and middle 40s to low 50s in the mountains.

Our next storm will hit toward the end of the week. Clouds will increase on Thursday, with scattered rain and snow for the mountains and western valleys.

The Denver metro area will see a light rain/snow mix on Friday and temperatures will dip into the 40s.
