Warmer with sunshine for Monday

DENVER —
Monday and Tuesday should stay dry and temperatures will be warmer. Highs are expected to climb to the low to mid-60s Monday, with upper 60s on Tuesday. Lows will remain above normal, in the mid to upper 30s.

Clouds will increase on Wednesday as a storm system develops across the southwestern United States. Snow should develop in the mountains on Wednesday and light rain showers may spread into the Denver area on Wednesday evening.

Some light snow is expected for the metro-area late Wednesday through Thursday as temperatures drop well below freezing. Highs on Thursday will stay colder, in the mid-30s. 40s and sunshine return for Friday.
