DENVER — Another front will race across Colorado from the Pacific Northwest in the next 24 hours bringing periods of snow to the northern and central mountains and a slight chance for a few showers for Denver and the eastern plains.
For Sunday, highs were in the 50s in Denver with cloudy skies. Light rain fell across the plains.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the northern and central mountains through lunchtime on Monday..3-8 inches of snow is possible. Roads have also been rough with the snow that has already fallen, with I-70 closing at times due to poor driving conditions.
Monday, we will have partly cloudy skies, along with gusty winds. Highs Monday will be in the low to mid 50s across the Front Range and the eastern plains.
Tuesday will be dry and quiet, followed by more rain and snow chances with another fast moving cold front on Wednesday.
