DENVER — Our active weather pattern continues with more snow overnight and early Thursday.

Bands of moderate to heavy snow will continue to move southward along the I-25 Corridor and will slick roads through early morning. The snow will end by early morning, but will be followed by areas of fog and very cold temperatures. Allow plenty of extra time for travel.

Thursday will start very cold, with icy roads and patchy fog. Skies will clear, but temperatures will stay chilly - just in the upper 20s to low 30s for Denver. In the mountains, some flurries will continue and temperatures will be in the 20s.

By Friday, a warming trend returns. Temperatures will rebound to above normal for mid-February, with highs in the low to middle 50s and lows in the teens to low 20s.

The weather will be partly cloudy on Saturday with slightly cooler temperatures thanks to the passage of a weak cold front. There could be a few flurries in the mountains, but little precipitation is expected.

Sunday will be windy with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s in Denver. Strong west winds can be expected in the mountains and foothills.

Another storm will approach Colorado on Monday with snow developing in the mountains. Snow will develop in Denver late Monday and continue into Tuesday.
