Mild weather returns to Colorado

50s and 60s for highs the next few days

DENVER — Skies will remain clear through early Thursday across Colorado. Lows in the Denver area will be around 18 degrees, while some of the high mountain valleys will have readings 10 to 15 degrees below zero.

More sunshine and warmer temperatures will return to the for the Front Range. Highs were in the upper 30s and low 40s Wednesday, but will be in the low 50s Thursday and near 60 degrees Friday. Lows will be in the 20s for the Denver area, but still drop to zero to 10 above in the mountains.

No major storms will impact the state through Saturday. A cold front will push into Colorado on Sunday with several inches of snow likely for the mountains. Denver and the eastern plains could see a flurry, but otherwise just some clouds and cooler temperatures.

The overall mild and dry weather pattern will return early next week.
