DENVER — A minor storm system brought clouds, cooler temperatures and a little rain and snow to parts of Colorado on Wednesday. Moisture from this system passed to the south and east of Denver through Wednesday evening.

This weak storm will leave behind some areas of fog in the early morning, but skies will clear with highs in the mid 60s in the afternoon.  Some high clouds will drift back across the Denver area in the afternoon, with some scattered rain and snow showers in the mountains

Warmer weather will arrive on Friday under a mostly sunny sky, with highs around 70 degrees. In the mountains, temperatures will be in the 50s to near 60 degrees during the day and upper 20s to mid 30s at night.

Saturday will stay dry and mild with highs in the low 70s in Denver under a mostly sunny sky.  Sunday will stay dry, but turn slightly cooler as a weak cold front slips across Colorado.

Early next week will stay mild and pleasant for Monday, but the forecast is for colder and wetter weather to arrive late Tuesday and for Halloween.  Next Wednesday afternoon and evening will be cold with a mix of rain and snow for Trick or Treaters!
