DENVER — Partly cloudy skies through early Friday with comfortable temperatures this evening and cool conditions overnight.

Friday will start out dry and mostly sunny, but showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon, ahead of another minor cold front. The risk of severe weather on Friday afternoon is low. Temperatures will be a little warmer in advance of the front with highs in the low to mid 70s.

The cold front will slip to the east of Colorado on Saturday with clearing skies and highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms will develop, mainly over the mountains. Temperatures in the high country will be in the 50s to low 60s.

Sunday will be a very pleasant day with sunshine in the morning and increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s in Denver and across the plains, with 60s in the mountains. Showers and thunderstorms will develop later in the day.

A strong cold front will move into Colorado on Monday. Rain and much colder weather will arrive Monday with temperatures only in the 40s in Denver with 30s in the mountains.

Tuesday will be even colder with light rain and even some snow possible in Denver! Highs will only be in the 40s with low temperatures close to the freezing mark!

Cool and unsettled weather will continue on Wednesday with a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the 50s to low 60s.
