For Denver and northeastern Colorado, skies will stay mostly clear Saturday, with gusty northwest winds. The high winds are helping clear out the air pollution that has hung over Denver and the Front Range for the past several days.
A High Wind Watch is in effect for Saturday morning for the Front Range Foothills west of Denver. Gusts up to 60 mph will be possible - not helping the avalanche conditions.
Highs today will be in the upper 40s across the metro-area. Dry and not as windy for tonight.
Drier and milder weather will return again for Sunday and Monday, followed by a strong storm late next Tuesday and Wednesday that could bring heavy snow to the mountains and plains!
