DENVER — It was another mild day across Colorado. Highs topped out in the low 50s this afternoon for the metro area.
A westerly flow aloft continues to block the colder Arctic air masses from moving into Colorado. We'll be under a mild air mass through tomorrow.
Thursday will be one of the warmest days this week. We'll see mostly sunny skies and highs near 60 degrees across the Denver metro area, with mid to upper 50s to the north near Fort Collins.
Our next storm will bring more snow to the mountains on Thursday night and that snow will spread across the Denver metro area by early Friday morning. Right now, it looks like 1 to 3 inches of snow is possible for the early morning drive.
We will recover pretty quickly after that storm with highs in the 40s for the weekend with sunshine. Stay tuned for details.
