DENVER — It will be a beautiful couple of days across Colorado. Highs this afternoon have been in the low to mid 60s.

We've also had some scattered rain and snow showers in the mountains that will continue into early tonight. Overnight lows will drop to around 40 degrees tonight in Denver with partly cloudy skies.

Even warmer weather will arrive on Friday under a mostly sunny sky, with highs around 70 degrees. In the mountains, temperatures will be in the 50s to near 60 degrees during the day and upper 20s to mid 30s at night.

Saturday will stay dry and mild with highs in the low to mid-70s in Denver under a mostly sunny sky. Sunday will stay dry, but turn slightly cooler as a weak cold front slips across Colorado.

Early next week will stay mild and pleasant for Monday, but the forecast is for colder and wetter weather to arrive Tuesday and for Halloween. Next Wednesday will be cold with light snow in the morning. By afternoon and evening, skies will clear, but it will be cold for trick-or-treaters!
