DENVER — We hit a high of 90 degrees in Denver on Sunday and that might be our last 90-degree day of the year! Today will be a touch cooler, with mostly sunny skies this morning and highs in the upper 80s by 4 p.m.

Thunderstorms will develop in the mountains this afternoon and there's a slight chance that a few could roll east over the plains. We're only looking at about a 10% chance of storms in Denver this next couple of days.

Our next cold front will usher in some slightly cooler air on Wednesday. We'll see a few afternoon storms and highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.

So far, this upcoming weekend looks a lot more fall-like. We'll see temperatures dip into the 70s starting Friday.

Leaves are beginning to change in the mountains and it will not be long before the aspen trees begin to really glow in the high country! Here's where to go to see the beautiful fall foliage.
