DENVER — Temperatures dipped down into the upper 40s this morning in Denver and closer to freezing in the mountains. There was some light snow on the peaks early in the day, but it has melted quickly!
The state had a beautiful day with blue skies, plenty of sunshine and very comfortable temperatures! Highs were in the 60s in the mountains and 70s to low 80s across the plains.
A warming trend will return Friday through the weekend with highs back into the 80s under mostly sunny skies. Sunday might be the last of the really hot days with highs expected around 90 degrees.
